Cone Beam Scanner 3D Imaging
One of the advantages of 3D imaging is that it results in higher quality and more detailed images than traditional x-rays provide. Another advantage this new technology has over traditional x-rays is that it has fewer health risks because it is less invasive and emits less radiation.
Cone beam technology gives us the ability to produce a 3D digital tomographic view of the target site. Traditional x-rays can only provide limited two-dimensional images, but with the 3D model from a cone beam scanner, Dr. Imanuel Babayev can get a comprehensive, 360-degree view of your teeth. This tool is a fast, simple and painless way to examine your teeth and diagnose any issue you may have.
Digital X-Rays
We use digital x-rays at our practice because they expose our patients to significantly less radiation than film x-rays use. They also improve our ability to diagnose and educate our patients. After the image is taken it is viewable on a computer screen so that our oral surgeon can show you exactly what they are seeing. They are also instant because there is no film to develop. We use a soft tissue laser to perform periodontal (gum) surgeries. Laser have improved our ability to perform these procedures by being efficient, causing less discomfort, speeding up healing times and reducing the risk of infection.

By keeping your records in a digital format, we also make them more accessible to our oral surgeon which in turn leads to better care, because they find what they need to know, when they need to know it. We provide digital flat screen monitors for every patient chair in our office. This give our patients the ability to watch a movie or a tv-show while they are being worked on, and they can view their own dental images while speaking with their dentist. This technology helps our patients have a better experience and helps them become better educated about their oral health.
